Supply of 5,000 Thai workers this year
Preparing for next year's market environment
In the meantime, the employment permit system has almost stopped sending foreign workers, but this year, we are fortunate to be able to gradually overcome COVID-19 and resume sending foreign workers to supply manpower to small and medium-sized enterprises and farming and fishing villages in Korea.
This year, the EPS Center in Thailand conducted a Korean language selection test and physical strength test for 42,000 Thai workers who wish to get a job in Korea through the employment permit system, and sent 5,000 healthy workers who passed the test to Korea.
As the manpower shortage of small and medium-sized enterprises and farming and fishing villages in Korea is expected to continue in 2023 next year, we will prepare for more Thai workers to be sent to Korea on time.
In addition, we will make efforts to prevent illegal immigrants by fully promoting various benefits that only sincere workers can enjoy and disadvantages given to illegal immigrants through pre-employment training hours so that Thai workers who are employed in Korea can work faithfully without leaving the workplace.
And the EPS Center in Thailand will prepare a job fair event in accordance with the market environment next year to help young Koreans and returning workers who wish to get a global job.
Thank you
