Korean Volunteer Ambassador, Volunteer Sharing Briquettes and Daily Necessities for a Warm Winter

The Korea Central Volunteer Center (Center Director Kwon Mi-young) announced that Korea Volunteer Public Relations Ambassadors and Central Center employees volunteered to share briquettes.

On the afternoon of December 15th, briquette sharing volunteer service with the Korea Volunteer Ambassador was held in Samseong-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul. On this day, 2,700 briquettes were donated to the Briquette Sharing Campaign Headquarters for the Warm Korean Peninsula Love, and 1,800 of them were delivered directly to 9 households in need in Samseong-dong, Gwanak-gu. In addition, they delivered daily necessities such as rice, ramen, and toilet paper.

Volunteer service on this day was attended by creator Ziyang (Park Jeong-won), former baseball player Jun-hyuk Yang, performing artist Poppin Jun-ho, creator Deokja Jeonseongsidae (Park Bo-mi) and 19 employees of the Central Volunteer Center. Singer Jeong Yu-jin, dancing bear, dance teacher SIMBA, and Jang So-bin, who performed Sunny Days, a representative sound source of volunteer work, added meaning to the KBS Open Concert with volunteers.

Kwon Mi-yeong, head of the Korea Central Volunteer Center, said, “I hope that the briquettes delivered by the Korea Volunteer Public Relations Ambassador and the Korea Central Volunteer Center staff will be helpful in the cold wave.” Her also said, "Thank you to the public relations ambassador who plays a significant role in creating a culture of volunteering through steady volunteering despite his busy schedule, and I hope that many people will continue to create an opportunity to participate in the pleasant experience of volunteering."
