Culture and Tourism Ministry, Reglonal Culture and Development Agency held 'Warm Culture Day' with Family in December

Full of special cultural programs to feel the year-end sensibility

The Culture and Tourism Ministry (Minister Park Bo-gyun) and the Culture and Development Agency (Director Cha Jae-geun) provide various cultural benefits so that people can more easily access culture in their daily lives during the “Culture Day” week (12.26-1.1) in December.

‘Culture Day’ is a policy that has been implemented since 2014 to support people to enjoy culture in their daily lives. During the week that includes the last Wednesday of every month, discounts or free admissions are provided at cultural and sports facilities such as movie theaters, concert halls, museums, and art galleries.

These days, when we spend the year that is nearing meaningfully and prepare to welcome the new year, we can spend more meaningful time with our family and friends on ‘Culture Day’ in December.

Citizens who plan to go to the cinema, which is perfect for a cold winter day, are recommended to apply for a discount on Culture Day on Wednesday, December 28th. You can watch 2D movies for 7,000 won at around 400 theaters nationwide (Culture Day movie discount: 12.28 (Wed) 17:00-21:00 2D movies 7,000 won *Excluding some theaters).
